Inside Sales Engineer

We are currently seeking a high energy sales professional for an Inside Sales Engineering (ISE) position reporting directly to the National Sales Manager. The ISE is responsible for increasing sales in the assigned territory through an activity based sales plan. This is not a traveling sales position except for factory visits (4 per year) and 1 annual trade show. Candidate must be willing to live in Pittsburgh, PA.  

he first 90 days of the position would entail frequent visits to our facility in Riverdale, NJ to learn our products and processes and get to know our team.

Our Activity Based Sales Approach is based on the following:

  • 100+ Outbound calls, weekly
  • Write 100% of quotes for all opportunities within assigned territory
  • Achieve >50% Close-Win rate within sales pipeline
  • Attend a minimum of 1 Industry Specific Trade Show with RSM, annually

Additional Job Duties:

  • Perform preliminary applications discussions with customers over the phone
  • Receive inbound calls
  • Directing customers to appropriate product within the catalog for their application

Qualifications:

This is an entry-mid level sales position with preference given to those with at least 1-3 years of sales experience or relevant co-op/internship experience. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field is preferred. The ideal candidate would will have excellent interpersonal skills, understand technical systems, and have familiarity with control systems.

Prototype Machinist

Successful candidates applying for this position must have extensive experience using manual lathes, X-Y CNC milling machines, grinding, drilling, and belt sanding equipment, among others. The selected individual will use his/her extensive experience, knowledge, creativity, and sound judgment to machine/fabricate components and assemblies to support engineering during new product development, prototype, and pilot production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Turning and milling of components for prototypes, proof-of-concepts, fixtures, and tools
  • Assist manufacturing and design engineers in optimizing designs for machining operations
  • proactively review drawings and procure the necessary tools and gauges prior to the start of each job
  • Organize and maintain a safe and clean machine shop using 6S methodology

Requirements

  • Demonstrates mastery in machine practices and methodologies to fabricate components, tools, fixtures, etc.
  • 15+ years of experience working in a prototype machine shop and fast-pace environment
  • Ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Demonstrated creativity, knowhow, sound judgment, and experience in resolving machining problems.
  • Ability to plan and proactively ensure gauges, tools, and materials are ordered and delivered by the time the jobs are ready to commence.
  • Abilty to work per priority schedules and adapt to changing priorities
  • CNC programming a plus
  • Willingness to learn CNC programming

Regional Sales Manager

Sigma-Netics, a leading manufacturer of pressure control products located in Riverdale New Jersey,  has successfully produced sensing, switching, and control devices which serve the aerospace, off-road, oil & gas, and industrial markets for over 50 years.

Description:

We are currently seeking a high energy sales professional for a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) position reporting directly to the National Sales Manager. The RSM will be responsible increasing sales in the assigned territory through an activity based sales plan. This is a remote work position with 50% travel and the ability to live anywhere in the US. The first 90 days of the position would entail frequent visits to our facility in Riverdale, NJ to learn our products and processes and get to know our team.

Our Activity Based Sales Approach is based on the following:

  • # of Face-to-face customer visits
  • Travelling with, managing, and working with manufacturing representative firms
  • Key account management for accounts within territory
  • Trade show attendance
  • # of New leads generated

Additionally, the RSM will manage a team of inside and outside sales engineers, write and review sales proposals, and work with all factory stake holders to get buy in, manage programs, and drive deliverables to best respond to customer needs.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a skilled sales professional with a minimum of 5 years of technical sales experience, experience working with manufacturing representative organizations, a proven track record of sales growth, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (ME/EE/CE preferred) or other highly technical field degree. The ideal candidate would have experience with applications in the Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Industrial Automation, Robotics, or Avionics fields, with preference given to those with experience in more than one of these fields. Applicants must understand pressure controls systems, harsh environments, and have strong oral and written communications skills.
